Ons verhaal: de inspiratie van olijfolie

In de jaren 70 van de vorige eeuw stond de ondernemende jonge zakenman Yoshida aan het hoofd van een bekend opleidingsinstituut in Tokio. Omdat hij ervan overtuigd was dat kennis de sleutel is tot verlichting, was Yoshida nieuwsgierig naar de wereld buiten Japan, en dus pakte hij zijn koffers en reisde naar Europa. In Spanje ontmoette hij een olijventeler wiens familie al meer dan 200 jaar de beste biologische olie produceerde die verkrijgbaar is. Hij legde direct de verbinding tussen de traditionele Japanse kruidenleer en de antioxiderende eigenschappen van olijfolie, waarmee een nieuwe filosofie op het gebied van gezichtsverzorging het licht zag.

 

 Een nieuwe norm

Vandaag de dag is DHC wereldwijd een van de toonaangevende schoonheidsmerken, maar de onderneming blijft een radicaal andere benadering voorstaan. Our Ingredients

We at DHC like to have fun, but we get serious when it comes to products and what goes into them. We take pride in formulating our basic skincare using the best ingredients and technologies available, and without parabens, colorants, or added fragrance. Our entire line was founded on the principles our first product: Olive Virgin Oil. It’s sourced from organic Spanish olives that are handpicked when they’re most rich in nutrients. The oil is extracted from the crush before the first cold pressing, then carefully filtered in our state-of-the-art labs in Japan. The result is the premium, non-comedogenic, organic virgin olive oil we continue to produce today.
